Aviator Assistant integrates with ADS-B devices in order to provide accurate location data, traffic alerts and targets, over the air weather information and AHRS data.

We currently support ADS-B devices that use the GDL-90 Data Interface. We're working to integrate additional protocols and support even more devices. Here's the current list:

  • Stratus 3+
  • uAvionics Scout
  • uAvionics SkyEcho
  • Air Avionics
  • Dynon
  • Levil Devices
  • Stratux & Other GDL90 ADS-B devices.

Traffic Targets & Alerts

When connected to an ADS-B device, you will see traffic targets in the map view. Aviator Assistant provides audible and visible alerts to targets that pose threats to you while in the air.

Over the Air Weather

When connected to an ADS-B device that supports OTA Weather updates, you will see this information inside of Aviator Assistant. This can encompass METARs, TAFs and Radar data. So even when you're offline, you can still see up to date weather information.

Backup Attitude

When connected to an ADS-B device that provides AHRS information, you'll get back up attitude inside of the Synthetic Vision module.
